Gourmet India: Authentic Indian Flavors in Burlington

What a find; and that too, in a mall food court!! They were not Halaal, when I was there in 2016, so I had to settle for a vegetarian offering. I had the Channa Masala, Black eyed Bean curry on Basmati Rice with Masala Chai. It was excellent, to say the least. Authentic taste, generous portion and value for money. Had such a good time that I went back a few days later!

Convenient Indian food in the mall. Fast and affordable with variety of combo options. Very few places have combo meal options for Indian food in Boston, because it’s in the mall they adapted their menu for quick bite and it’s great. Variety of tandoori meat options along with naan varieties. Must try places in the mall.

Great food for the price. Ate here twice and was very impressed by the food, especially for the price. Had chana masala and chicken vindaloo. It's so much better than any other food court meal I've had. The chicken was cooked perfectly and portion sizes were awesome. This was my favorite restaurant on my work trip to Boston and I would come back any time.

Gourmet India provided catering for my wedding. Their service was timely and professional. Mr. Sood provided helpful insights on the types of dishes that would suit the event schedule and our guests' needs, as well as the set-up. It was also helpful that Gourmet India already has a working relationship established with the venue, Boston Marriott Burlington, which eased communications and collaboration in the planning and execution stages. All the guests raved about the catering!

Amazing food, Fresh Tandori Bread. we ordered veg Kathi roll, Kadhi Rice, Paneer tikka masala, Naan. Everything was delicious and very fresh. I love the Punjabi kadhi and kathi roll. If you are visiting Burlington mall and looking for authentic Indian food, My best recommendation is Gourmet of India. It’s inside food court.

Always great food at the Gourmet India. The taste and the spices blend together perfectly. The naan bread is freshly made. Staff are very nice.

It's our go to spot specially with kids. You can get authentic tea, not chai latte, with samosas or chole bhature, or can have full meal in the food court while kids can play well in the play area. Food is great and reasonably priced for being in a mall.

Is mallcore back? After wandering the Burlington Mall in a haze of overstimulation and deal-hunting, we found ourselves at Gourmet India—a true hidden gem that offered exactly the refresh we needed. First, let’s talk about the food court setup. Tucked just out of sight from the bustle of the stores, it feels like a quiet reprieve, with a massive skylight above that brings in natural light and a touch of calmness. The stalls are neatly lined up, which makes browsing easy and ideal for dividing and conquering with friends. Now, onto Gourmet India itself. There’s something charming about the humble presentation here: dishes served in paper and Styrofoam on those red plastic trays, nostalgic of classic mall food but with a twist. We went for the 3-item platter with rice, garlic naan (grilled to order!), a mango lassi, and two pieces of gulab jamun—all for around 25, which felt like an absolute steal. The flavors didn’t disappoint. Every bite felt homemade and genuinely crafted. The chicken tikka masala was the star of the show—tender, fragrant, and utterly satisfying. Gourmet India didn’t just serve us a meal; it gave us the perfect mid-shopping recharge, reminding us of the joys of a low-key mall food court, just with a little extra warmth and flavor.
